Relief Prints from My Residency at Edinburgh Botanical Gardens
During my residency, I made a series of relief prints that explore how we can experience art through touch. Relief printing is a process where you carve into a surface, leaving the design raised. Ink is rolled onto the raised areas and then pressed onto paper to make the image. I used this method to turn my photographs into tactile artworks, inviting people - especially those with sight loss - to connect with the images by feeling their shapes and textures, not just by looking
